Big Kids Yoga (8 to 11 years old)

In this class for school age kids we will explore developmentally appropriate yoga poses which are incorporated to stretch, strengthen, and improve the balance of young growing bodies. We do a variety of yoga and mindfulness- based activities and games. Breath work, and relaxation techniques are taught to cultivate self-regulation skills and emotional intelligence, and reduce stress.  In this class series children will learn in a nourishing and non-competitive atmosphere to relax and have fun while at the same time developing strength from within, coordination, flexibility and balance as well as greater body awareness, better focus and concentration.  Please send your child in comfortable clothes and with a water bottle. This is a 60 minute class.
