Yoga is a tool that connects the body and mind in the present moment by giving our mind one thing to focus on, the breathe. I first came to yoga as a way to stay active while I traveled, and it quickly became so much more. It became a way to slow my anxious mind and build my own resiliency in challenging times.
I completed my 200-hour Yoga and Mindfulness training with saigon om and I am excited to share my practice with you all.
In my classes I love to incorporate technical alignment cues to help you deepen your understanding, as well as a light hearted and open atmosphere to try new things. With a background in the field of Psychology working with children with Autism and teens with low self esteem, I knew the benefits of practicing yoga. However, it was not until I started practicing myself that I truly understood how many ways yoga can be a tool for self care. I can’t wait to share this with you. See you on the mat!
