Saturday, August 26
10am-12pm Yoga Foundations

This beginner’s mind workshop is for both beginners and seasoned practitioners as well as yoga teachers. Come and get to know your body for a safe practice as we’ll share some of our latest yoga biomechanic findings. We’ll also look at the sun salutation and other foundation poses under a microscope for joint alignment and muscular function.

Topics covered:
• Major joints used in yoga
• In-depth practical yoga application of joints and muscles
• Bone proportion and orientation
• How to improve alignment and technique
• How to keep safe and free from injuries
• How to use the breath to flow through your practice (vinyasa)

Yoga Teachers: This workshop counts towards 2 hours of Continued Education with Yoga Alliance.

Saturday, August 26
1:30-3:30pm Healing Through Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness & Reiki

In this 2-hour master class you’ll be led through a sequence of restorative yoga poses with mindfulness guidance to help calm down the chattering mind so you can rest, relax and let go of tension and stress. Mindfulness combined with restorative yoga can also help you to come home to your body, in the present moment, where healing, happiness and life are available. Hands on Shamballa Reiki & massage will be also given in class. All levels of practitioners are welcome. Requirement: your lovely smile. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Sunday, August 27
10am-12pm Qi Gong Energy Activation & Release

Come join us and learn energy release & activation exercises to clear energetic blockages, turning stress into vitality. Qi Gong is a long term training program practiced to circulate, cultivate, regulate, enhance, and guide internal energies to achieve health, vitality, and spiritual awareness. It is an ancient Chinese system of healing and rejuvenation. It involves using your mind, conscious breathing and body to direct the flow of energy. This workshop is ideal for those who’d like to incorporate energy release & activation before a yoga practice, a gym session, presentation or self-practice at home every day.

This workshop is ideal for practitioners of all levels and experience. Children 11 years old or older are also encouraged to attend. Beginners are welcome.

Sunday, August 27
1:30-3:30pm Advanced Yoga Poses

Take your practice to new levels and learn how to do some of the more challenging poses correctly and safely, including deep twists, backbends, forward bends, inversions and fun arm balancing poses. Bring along your questions or your favourite poses to this engaging workshop and we’ll help take your practice to new levels. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Yoga Teachers: This workshop counts towards 2 hours of Continued Education with Yoga Alliance.
